On Monday, May 9, 2017, Central High School will be hosting the third countywide PACER competition. Each school will be represented by their top performing boy and girl in grade levels 3-5, 6-8 and high school on the PACER Fitness Test.
The PACER is an annual test of fitness to track individual student’s progress on maintaining a healthier lifestyle. The data generated from this report does not compare our children with others throughout Tennessee but compares each student to their previous fitness scores.
This is an improved method of tracking fitness because it allows everyone to improve their health in comparison to their unique needs and personal goals. Everyone can advance at their own pace and the improved health of our children is our ultimate goal.
